Life is a Challenge - a story of Aimee Mullins

Life's challenges are not supposed to paralyze you; they're supposed to help you discover who you are.

Meet Aimee Mullins who lost both of her legs when she was only one years old .Despite her physical limitations, she pushed herself physically and mentally to succeed.she was born with fibular hemimelia (missing fibula bones) and, as a result, had both of her legs amputated below the knee when she was a year old. She is a graduate of Parkland High School in Allentown and Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

While attending Georgetown University, she competed against able-bodied athletes in NCAA Division I track and field events. She competed in the Paralympics in 1996 in Atlanta, in which she ran the 100-meter dash in 17.01 seconds and jumped 3.14 meters in the long-jump.

In 1999, she modeled for British fashion designer Alexander McQueen in his London show, on a pair of hand-carved wooden prosthetic legs made from solid ash, with integral boots.

She is able to change her height between 5 ft 8in and 6 ft 1in by changing her legs.

She has been named one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world by People.

She rightly said Confidence is the sexiest thing a woman can have. It's much sexier than any body part.

Also while at Georgetown, Mullins won a place on the Foreign Affairs internship program, working at The Pentagon. She also makes appearances as a motivational speaker.

So never think you have inability of something, try to recognize your inner strength, I know you can make you weakness or inability your strength.

ATTITUDE, Best described

ATTITUDE, best described:

An old man lived alone near Jaipur. He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was very hard work.

His only son, who would have helped him, was in prison (Jail) in Mumbai.
The old man wrote a letter to his son and mentioned his situation.

Dear Beta , I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won't be able to plant my potato garden this year.

"I hate to miss doing the garden, because your mother always loved planting time.
I'm just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot.
If you were here, all my troubles would be over.
I know you would dig the plot for me, if you weren't in Jail".
Love,
Papa

Shortly, the old man received this Letter:

"For Heaven's sake, Papa,
Don't dig up the garden!!
That's where I buried the GUNS!"

At 4 a.m.
The next morning,
A dozen STF and local police officers showed up and dug up the entire garden without finding any guns.

Confused, the old man wrote another note to his son telling him what happened,
and asked him what to do next.
His son's reply was:
"Go ahead and plant your potatoes, Papa: It's the best I could do for you from here."

Moral Of the Story:

NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE IN THE WORLD,
IF YOU HAVE DECIDED TO DO SOMETHING DEEP FROM YOUR HEART, YOU CAN DO IT.
IT IS THE THOUGHT THAT MATTERS NOT WHERE YOU ARE OR WHERE THE PERSON IS!

“You’re not a failure if you don’t make it. You’re a success because you tried”.

Primary Markets Advisory Committee recommends Re 1 as face value of shares for all listed cos

Primary Markets Advisory Committee recommends Re 1 as face value of shares for all cos
PMAC (Primary Markets Advisory Committee) had a meeting yesterday and they are finalising this recommendation that all the listed companies should have a face value of Re 1 and now this recommendation has gone to the SEBI board, which will take a final view within 2-3 weeks. The basic argument behind this recommendation is that if there is a uniform value for listed companies, it is easy for the investor to understand EPS or P/E and it will be easy for them to understand the market. So, that is the basic argument and with this basic argument they have sent the recommendation.
The timeline says that within 2-3 weeks, SEBI board will take a final view, after that all the companies will have to split their stock, whether the face value is Rs 10 or 50 or 100 or 200 or 500. So, the ultimate result is within six months - that is the timeline that they are expecting - we will have a face value of Re 1 for all the listed companies and it will result in more floating stock for all listed companies and it will be good for all investors.

New Indian Says : “ Don’t Fear to Dream Big”

Old Indian Says : “ Don’t dare to dream Big.”

New Indian Says : “ Don’t Fear to Dream Big”

Its rightly said that the man who wins is the man who thinks he can, in other words,we can say that winners dare to dream Big.
Once the Great Late Dhiru Bhai Ambani said Bada bannne ke liye bada sapna dekhna jaruri hai, He dared to dream big and who does not know how he made the largest corporate of Nation.
For many centuries, we used to believe it’s fruitless to Dream a Big Dream. We had fear of dreaming big, as the fear of losing already had had been always making us too conscious and limited that we never tried to go beyond our boundaries. As result we were contented with what ever we had and consequently we became slave of those we dared to think beyond their boundaries.
But Fortunately time has been changed (God helps braves); Now we are in a new and bright INDIA where INDIANS will dictate the world Economy.

Arjuns of India who won Wars without Blood and became King in their respective field.

1) Laxmi Niwas Mittal: In true sense he has abode (Niwas) of Wealth (Laxmi). He made India proud of his endevour , after acquiring Arcelor, he became STEEL King of the earth (His company is No 1 in STEEL Production and NIPPON, the Second largest producer of Steel produces less than one third of his). One more thing we should not forget that he bought the most expensive house in the world . So now an Indian became STEEL King and he resides in most expensive palace of the world with him wife and his Son Aditya (CFO-Arcelor-Mittal Steel)
We (Indian) salute you Mr. Mittal to take Indian to the main league.

2) Arun Sarin:

An engineer by profession from Kharakpur IIT (WB) became CEO of world’s largest telecom Company Vodafone (Voice Data Fone) and recently he was in India to bid to acquire Hutch –Essar, the third largest telecom company of India.

3) Indira Nooyi:

We should proud of this Indian born lady who broke all barriers and has proved that Indian ladies are the best. She became CEO of one of the largest beverage companies of the Earth ,Pepsico and recently she was chosen as Chairperson of Pepsico International.Three Cheers for Bharti Nari
( Indian Lady)

4) Ratan Tata:

He acquired a company which was five times bigger than his TATA Steel, After this succesful deal( Approx.$ 12.5 billion) of Corus Steel acquisition,
TATA-Corus Steel became the Fifth largest Steel maker of the Earth , So First as well as fifth largest producers of Steel are of Indian Origin.
As the STEEL is the backbone of any economy so it is right to say that in coming future we Indian will dictate the Economy of the Earth.

5) Amitabh Bachchan: Who does not know this name.If it will be right ,we say the name Amitabh is now synonymous of fame,. He made India proud when he was declared Star Millennium by well known news channel BBC of UK in 2000.

And Recently the approved winning Bid ( Approx. $6 billion ) of Mr. Kumarmangalam Birla to acquire the Aluminium giant Of Canada NOVELIS will make Mr. Birla 5th largest producer of aluminium of the Earth.
The Suzlon Energy , a Pune based wind Power generation company headed by Mr Tantri with its Portugal,s partner Martifer SGPA have jointly offered to buy the German Repower System at Euro 1.02 billion.,If Suzlon Energy gets Repower the Company's share of the global wind power market will go upto a little over 14% from the existing 11%.

Its only a beginning , believe me ,we will witess a lots of Success stories in coming future because the trend has be changed now even Indians have no fear of dreaming big .Some of the Indians dreamt big, went for it and results are in front of you.
Its your turn ,now you have to decide ,whether YOU DARE TO DREAM BIG or not????????
